And now for something a little different!!!!!!!! This was for my Materials & Techniques II class in response to the prompt “Revenge.” The technique we learned created the textured background for the image. Basically, we layered different colors of acrylic paint on top of one another (letting each layer dry before applying the next) and then sanded it away with damp sandpaper. I had a lot of fun painting with acrylic, and it was refreshing to try something different. :)
